H6 (14-19) 33 hours per week / 6hrs 35mins per day (7:15am to 2.55pm -term-time only) Actual Salary £19,659 – £21,481 per annum
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Education Support team. You will supervise classes during the short and medium term absence of the class teacher under the guidance of teaching/senior staff as well as organising the planned and day to day teaching cover. You will implement work programmes, manage student behaviour for learning and assist students with their learning activities to promote rapid progress and high standards of attainment.
The Governors of St Mary’s will make an additional recruitment payment to the externally appointed candidate if they apply direct to the school (i.e. not through an agency/third party).
Please note that safeguarding students of the School is a priority. All appointments to posts in the School are made through stringent adherence to the requirements of ‘Keeping Children safe in Education’. As there is a high degree of contact with children an enhanced disclosure will be sought for this post through the Criminal Records Bureau as part of pre-employment checks.
