Macmillan Coffee Mornings at St Mary’s

Today, St Mary’s CE High School came together to support the wonderful Macmillan Cancer Support charity, with not one, but two fantastic coffee mornings taking place!

Our resourceful Year 12 and 13 students organised their own fundraising event, expertly orchestrated by Hannah Oledigbo, raising an incredible £116. Our staff bake sale raised a further £126, with an amazing selection of delicious homemade and shop-bought treats, generously provided by members of staff.

It was wonderful to see students and staff enjoying a well-deserved slice of cake, a cup of coffee and some lovely time together after such a fantastic week of teaching and learning.

Together, our St Mary’s community raised £242 for Macmillan Cancer Support. A huge thank you to everyone who baked, bought, organised, donated and supported the events. Your generosity and community spirit made the day a real success!
