Year 11 Art students visited the National Gallery for an engaging workshop and guided tour exploring chiaroscuro in painting, directly linked to their GCSE Art projects. They produced thoughtful work, asked really interesting questions and showed great enthusiasm throughout the day. They represented the school brilliantly, and we are incredibly proud of them!
Year 10 Art students enjoyed an inspiring workshop with a professional artist, developing large-scale portraits using chalk, charcoal and mixed media. The day encouraged experimentation, strengthened their drawing and painting skills, and helped them develop their portfolios. Students showed fantastic engagement, creativity and enthusiasm throughout.
