St Mary’s had its last full Section 5 Inspection in January 2015. The school was judged to be a ‘Good’ school. This means that there are very positive features to the School.
A school that is judged to be good is serving its students well (Ref: Ofsted glossary). St Mary’s will be due for its next Ofsted inspection between three and five years after the last inspection.
St Mary’s had its last SIAMS (Church Schools) inspection in May 2015. The school was judged to be an ‘Outstanding Church’ School. The SIAMS inspection framework uses the same judgements as the Ofsted framework. St Mary’s is due for the next Church school inspection within five years of the previous one.
The Governors and staff of St Mary’s continue to have a very strong commitment to ensuring an outstanding quality of provision and outcomes for students.
