Year 7 and 9 Netball teams play away fixture at Broxbourne

On Monday 10th January, the Year 7 and 9 netball teams braved the elements to play a netball fixture against The Broxbourne School. As we arrived at the school, the heavens opened but the girls decided to plough on as they wanted to play.

Both teams put in a incredible effort, playing in the freezing rain. The games were low scoring with the Year 9s finishing 3-1 and the Year 7s finishing 3-0. Broxbourne took the glory for both matches, but the low scores showed how hard the defence worked to keep them from scoring more. All of the girls were really enthusiastic and kept their spirits high throughout the matches, despite falling behind and battling the rain.

Well done to all of those who took part, a great effort all round.
