Year 6 Transition Challenge

Welcome to St Mary’s! Thank you for taking the time to complete our transition challenges. Hopefully you have had a chance to read all about us from the information on our website and have seen our fantastic school buildings and classrooms using our amazing 360 virtual tour.

To make your challenge entry, simply complete the questions below to submit your task. You can submit one, two or all three of the challenges. We will be in touch through your primary school once we have read all the entries.

Good Luck!

  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
  • On the virtual tour there are 10 letters that spell out one of our school’s Christian Values. Can you spot all ten letters and then work out the word?
  • Here at St Mary’s we closely follow, and are proud of, our Christian Values one of which you probably spotted on the virtual tour. Our other values are trust, endurance, reverence, love, compassion, thankfulness, peace, service, forgiveness, justice, hope, humility, fellowship, wisdom and creation. Can you create a picture/collage representing the values of St Mary’s using different colours and different mediums, take a photo of it and upload it below? How creative can you be?
    Max. file size: 50 MB.
  • Which word did you spot? This is one of the most important key values because it shows how much we care and support each other. We challenge you to create a poem based around the word you have found. This could be an acrostic, a poem that rhymes or not, a haiku or any other form of poetry you can think of. The winning poem will be displayed in our school’s front entrance..
    Max. file size: 50 MB.
