We are looking for resourceful and conscientious technology technician to support our Technology teachers to start in April 2023. Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. This is an important role that adds to the quality of provision for students and that is essential for the smooth operation of the Teaching & Learning Area.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organised, work independently as well as a team member, and be able to pay attention to detail.

About the role

We are looking to recruit an exceptional Director of Finance and Resources to join the forward-thinking Senior Leadership Team at St Mary’s CofE High School.

The Trustees are seeking to appoint a passionate and resilient person with high aspirations and a drive to support school improvement.

The Director of Finance and Resources will also act as the designated ‘Chief Financial Officer’  and will lead and manage the financial and operational functions within the school including but not limited to: Finance, Administration /Management Information Systems and ICT/Human Resource of Support staff (non-classroom based) /Facility & Property and Health & Safety.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual with a flexible attitude to join our busy Finance Team and support with the day-to-day running of the office carrying out a wide range of financial and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be experienced in working in Finance and will possess the skills to carry out financial duties such as financial reconciliations, accounts journals and period end financial routines. Excellent numeracy and organisational skills are essential as well as the ability to pay close attention to detail. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages is and experience in the use of financial management systems are essential.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Education Support team. You will supervise classes during the short and medium term absence of the class teacher under the guidance of teaching/senior staff as well as organising the planned and day to day teaching cover. You will implement work programmes, manage student behaviour for learning and assist students with their learning activities to promote rapid progress and high standards of attainment.
