STUDENTS WILL NEED

Students will need to achieve recommended entry requirements for the Professional Pathway, plus subject specific requirements of:
BTEC National Extended Certificate: Business Studies or ICT GCSE/L2 at P2/grade 4
BTEC National Diploma: Business Studies or ICT GCSE/L2 at M2/grade

STUDENTS WILL STUDY

Unit 1: Exploring Business Assignment
Unit 2: Developing a Marketing Campaign Task Unit 3: Personal & Business Finance
Unit 8: Recruitment and Selection (
If students are studying the National Diploma they will also study a further range of units including Digital Marketing and International Business.

ASSESSMENT

The new BTEC Nationals in Business use a combination of assessment styles to give students confidence so they can apply their knowledge to succeed in the workplace and have the study skills to continue learning throughout their career.
This range of vocational assessments, both practical and written, enable students to showcase their learning and skills to best effect when they take their next step, whether supporting applications to higher education courses or to potential employers. This course includes both internal and external assessment.
