We are looking for an energetic, hard-working, self-motivated, flexible person to work within the Site Team providing effective and efficient site services including building security, cleaning, porterage, minor repairs and maintenance.  Ideally, you will have either experience of similar premises work or relevant practical DIY skills but these are not essential.

The successful applicant must take pride in their work and be committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all users of the site. You need to be able to communicate in a friendly and effective manner and to support other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for the students at the school. Good team working is essential as well as the ability to work alone using your initiative.

Please note that safeguarding students of the School is a priority.  All appointments to posts in the School are made through stringent adherence to the requirements of ‘Keeping Children safe in Education’. As there is a high degree of contact with children, an enhanced disclosure will be sought for this post through the Criminal Records Bureau as part of pre-employment checks.

Applicants do not need to be practising Christians, but if appointed, would be expected to uphold our Christian principles of trust, forgiveness, compassion, thankfulness, friendship and love, as well as our vision where, ‘Through God’s love, we are the rich soil where seeds flourish and roots grow’. In line with this vision, we are committed to developing you in the role, both in the short term through a supportive induction programme, and in the long term.
